He wanted to bring the layers of men's suiting into a scent. The weight of fine wool. The softness of suede. The structure of a perfectly cut jacket. I understood it immediately. The moment he described it, I was back on Madison Avenue. The years I spent working for some of the most renowned luxury houses on that avenue, nearly two decades in fashion, it all came rushing back.

10021 is a zip code with over a century of history and taste. There is an air of elegance about it. The well-heeled, the well-traveled, the discerning.
